Initial fitness and lifestyle consultation

 You will fill out an online health and fitness questionnaire that will help us assess your individual health and fitness goals, medical history, nutritional habits, and determine the best course of training or therapy to meet your needs. 

 

Fitness assessment

                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Physical fitness encompasses cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, and body composition. Testing these components is important to establish current fitness levels and to determine areas of strength and/ or in need of improvement. Baseline testing ensures that your success with an exercise program is attainable, measurable and meets your health and lifestyle time frame.

Personal training

Exercise program design, fitness baseline testing, result testing and instruction are all catered toward the individual, and will be either at our markham based location or within your own home. Each session is one hour long. Equipment can be provided if not available in your home. The first few sessions will consist of teaching form and technique if needed. After that you will work hard, have fun and feel GREAT with the results!

Program design

If you want to train on your own and without a trainer, an easy to follow program can be set up for you to obtain your individual goals. The program’s results are limited by your compliance and nutritional habits.

Nutritional guidance

We will sit down with you and look at your food log. This will tell us about your habits, likes, dislikes, nutritional knowledge and your eating time frame. Based on this information we will then teach you what you need to know about good nutrition balance and how it can be incorporated into your daily lifestyle. This will include meals at home, dining out, and social events.   

Weekly food log.

Each week you will write down when you woke up and went to sleep, what and when you ate + drank, when you did any activity and how you felt during those times.You will then e-mail us your log and we will analyze it and send you back feedback with eating changes you can improve on.
