Justyna studied  kinesiology & health science at york  university specializing  in fitness assessment and  exercise counseling. To broaden her knowledge base  she completed a 2200 hr diploma program in shiatsu therapy at the shiatsu school of canada a year afterwards. In the meantime she has started working for the sports clubs of canada downtown toronto where she was a trainer for 3.5 years educating and training clients on their health and fitness goals.

“ I chose shiatsu as another means to treat and educate people on an active lifestyle and wellness…while successfully treating pain, stress, and tension related health problems.”

Wellness and health have always been justyna’s  passion, practiced and taught on daily basis to family and friends.  Her extensive work experience in fitness, lifestyle coaching, and volunteering in physiotherapy and chiropractic clinics have helped her to integrate the theory of western sciences with practice in a health care and fitness setting.  With extensive clinical and theoretical knowledge of both western and eastern medicine she is able to assess, plan and deliver the best course of treatments to meet your personal health and fitness goals. These goals may vary from an easy to follow workout plan, weight loss, recovery from injury, fitness programming for special medical needs (i.e osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, cardiac rehab), or to simply remain injury free and excel in your sport (tennis, hockey, golf, curling).

“I’d like to be seen as a health and fitness educator as much as a therapist who people can trust and depend on for advice. the idea is to help people tap into their own healing powers so that they may remain fit in their body, mind, and spirit. “
